The 3rd Monday of each month will include a new feature we’re calling the “Search Party.” Members are invited to submit their genealogy questions in advance, and during the Search Party portion of the meeting, we’ll work together to explore possible answers.

We encourage members of all experience levels to participate—whether you’re just getting started with genealogy or have been researching for years. Simply complete the question‑submission form and provide as much information as you already know. If you need assistance with the form, we’ll be happy to help before the meeting begins.

For example, you might want to identify the parents of your 2nd great‑grandmother. Or you may be curious about a piece of property an ancestor owned, or where an ancestor died. Whatever your question, we’ll walk through the different types of records and resources we might consult and demonstrate how to use them effectively.

Even if we can’t fully solve your question during the meeting, we will outline helpful next steps and resources so you can continue your research with confidence.
