The Odenton Genial Genealogists meet every Monday from 12:15 PM to 3:00 PM for friendly, interactive genealogy discussions. Each session begins at 12:15 PM with DNA Discovery, where members bring their DNA questions to troubleshoot together. At 1:00 PM, we transition to traditional genealogy topics. This year, our focus is on writing memoirs and ancestor profiles, and members are encouraged to read and present their work. Our schedule features two recurring monthly highlights: Morey’s Corner on the 2nd Monday, where Jack Morey highlights featured books from our library, and the Search Party on the 3rd Monday, where members get hands-on research guidance from experienced genealogists. **Please note: We do not meet on Monday holidays. On months with five Mondays, we select one Monday to meet for lunch at a local restaurant in place of our regular meeting.
